So Gabe updated his blog today (http://gabesaporta.com/) . He discusses how Hot Mess is jinxed and how this album is his first with a parental advisory. So he had to go back and re-record parts of the songs to make "edited" versions. Apparently there is a lot of curse words and sexual stuff in there. But what would we have expected from Cobra Starship? Hahah.
Anyway, he posts a clip of the "edited" Pete Wentz is the Only Reason We're Famous, and it is very hilarious. I suggest you listen to it. :)

body tribe
we had chip conrad from bodytribe over at fc for a few days a week ago, and it was one of the best experiences ever. not only did i meet someone who, in an insanely short amount of time, has redefined my philosophy of life (especially concerning fitness, where he has a lot of knowledge and experience as a fitness trainer, but also just in general...in how movement and physical activity relates to everything. how a strong idea of your goals with regards to fitness have so much to do with your goals in life. the philosophy of bruce lee's jeet kune do, wherein you take what works from any and every aspect of life, and discard what does not. this applies to everything. music, writing, politics, ethics, friendships. chip just expressed it in a way that just hit me in the heart.) but he also turned out to be one of those rare instances where you meet someone you share such an intense kinship with, its as if you have known each other for years. and he had this effect on all at fc, and tyler from second nature fit/extended fc fam as well. we had work outs on the beach in my back yard which completely redefined my house and where i live by giving me a way to connect with the land in a way i hadnt done prior. he showed us all some olympic lifts and gave us and understanding of what it all means that we hadnt had before. an understanding of how truly important this connection with our bodies that we have lost really is. something ive talked about before, but which he further brought to my focus. being on the beach, in the lake, with all that surrounds being a part of this reconnection with my own body but also with the landscape was just an amazing, complete feeling. i truly know, once more with such certainty, that our own fitness and our own relationship with our bodies is the most important starting point to anything we may believe. start with yourself, and everything else becomes clear.

Hello everyone! I have a crafty question. Does anyone know of anyplace local to purchase jewelry settings, like cabochons and such? I've been to lots of places with lots of lovely beads, but no mounting or setting supplies. I make charms by gluing images onto the back of glass and I have been setting them in bottle caps for a sort of punk-y look. Not everyone is into that and I'm trying to broaden my horizons a little bit. I would like to set them in something a bit more appealing to everyone, but I can't seem to find anything. Help? Thanks in advance!
